Michael R. Pippenger, Principal

Although Mr. Pippenger has historically worked in litigation, his practice now focuses on personal estate plans and probate matters, along with small business formation. In the past, he has represented everyone from individuals in need of legal help to several large broker-dealers, financial service companies, individual investment advisers, certified public accountants and angel investors in issues ranging from estate planning, landlord/tenant issues, customer disputes and raiding issues, regulatory investigations, to defunct private placement matters and even a dog bite case here or there.

Mr. Pippenger was previously employed as a litigation associate with Michaels Ward & Rabinovitz, LLP in its Boulder, Colorado office and before that with Rothgerber, Johnson & Lyons, LLP (now Lewis Roca Rothgerber) in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Pippenger passion is zealously representing his clients – whether they just need help negotiating a resolution to a minor dispute or if they need full blown litigation representation in a multi-million dollar commercial dispute – he believes in keeping his clients informed and aware so they can make the most educated strategy decisions possible.

Mr. Pippenger earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University in 1994. After spending a few years working for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., first as a broker and then as a team supervisor, Mr. Pippenger was afforded an opportunity to attend law school. In 2004, he earned his J.D. from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Mr. Pippenger is admitted to practice law in Colorado. Mr. Pippenger is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. Mr. Pippenger loves living in Colorado and spending time with his wonderful family!
